Traven was born July 10th 2008. I was scheduled to be induced at 7:00 am July 10th but my water broke at 1 am that morning. I was so excited he came naturally, on his own. He weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Here he is 1 year later...sound asleep the morning of his big day.
Good morning birthday boy!
He had his favorite breakfast...pancakes, mandarin oranges and milk.
My parents took Traven and I out to eat at Applebees for Traven's birthday lunch. They even gave him a couple of bday presents to help him practive for all the presents he'll get the next day at his party.

The servers sang Happy Birthday to Traven and he got an ice cream with strawberry topping. He wasn't sure about all the loud singing going on...
He sure enjoyed his treat. The cup was really cold and froze his hands but he wouldn't let his death grip loose....it was too yummy.

His first time in his big boy car seat. We had to make sure that he's 20 pounds before he can ride in it and sure enough he is...just barely. We took Traven to Dinosaur Park for his birthday.

Wow!! I can't believe that he is already one! Don't turn around because he will grow up that fast!your post was so sweet and brought many memories back to my own thoughts! I Love to see you and your happy little family!!
